Hi Everybody,
I have a question for you all …..
Would it be easier “if” I combined the larger degree STF and same time frame STF all together on just one oscillator ? Please see chart below, then you can use divergence for the DP trade set-ups and then the colour for the larger degree trend on the normal TS1, TS2 and TS3 trade set-up’s.
I ask because I now a few of you are struggling with the concept of the larger degree trend, so this may be easier. In that you will have to use just this one oscillator for both techniques.
What do you all think ?

Steve:
I like that concept however, what larger degree STF do you use and is it
flexible..ie..can we change the LT STF settings?

Hi DCtommy,
No, the idea is that you (the user) has to change nothing, to make it as easy as possible for you :)

hello Steve and all,
YES YES and YES Steve it would be very usefull !!!!
On the same idea, it would be also great if we could DISPLAY for example :
1) DAILY DP zone on HOURLY charts or 15mn DP on 3/5mn charts
2) Fibonacci lines (retracement, projection and extension) on lower time frame in ONE click
3) Chartist support/resistance lines on lower time frame in ONE click
4) WPT's zones on lower time frame in ONE click
In any case, thanks again Steve for taking care of us....and of our trading :)
Have a good trading day all,
Cheers

Way to go, Angel... I'll second that !

PS. Steve - may I please also suggest that you leave the current STF as is and add STF2 as per your first post above.
PPS. Angel : I use the TS8 box drawing tool to mark up higher timeframe DPs on my charts. I am starting to look into the merits of confluence of weekly / daily / 240 / 60 min DPs.

Hello Jtrade and all,
YES, confluences are very important levels which can be use in relation to MTPredictor technics.
By confluence, I mean chartist support/resistance lines, Fibs levels, WPT's levels or decision Points.....etc....
For example DAILY Decision Point as a support/resistance on HOURLY charts.
Thanks
Have a good trading day all

I would also like to be able to see the strength of the larger degree STF determined by the length of its bars in addition to the colour.

I am indeed a little slow sometimes, but I have just realised that if I change the STFv2 multiplier on my 240min charts to "6", I have the Daily STF on my 240min charts.
Splendid !

Steve,
When would EOD version look like RT version? Or should I go for RT version, though my day job would not permit day trading and I primarily could only trade at the end of the day?
RT version really seems neat and is referenced in the forums and daily reports a lot.
Thanks.
