Hi to traders on the Far Eastern markets

Hang Seng index futures provided a lovely buy set-up today, resulting in a profit of +3.7x initial money risked.

Standard MTPredictor TS1 buy set-up on the 3min. chart; blue buy bar in max. price support; min. +2x risk/reward potential at 1st profit target...

And yes...there was a loss just before this trade...but losses are contained and profits run with MTPredictor...controlled trading.

Thanks

Tony.

Tony, the STF is red in color, right?

Hi rich4ever

Yes, this TS1 long trade is against a red STF...

2 points:

1. TS1 trades will often have the STF against because they are, by definition, the first correction against the first move off a big low or high. Too soon for the STF to switch to neutral black or the opposite blue/red colour...
This is where a little advanced understanding (not much, though!) comes in useful!

2. Generally, the most conservative approach is to trade only with STF backing, however it is fine to ignore the STF if you are going to do that on all trades.
There was no consideration of the STF when I compiled the real-time trade record on US index futures (we didn't have the STF study at the time).

I hope this helps?

Thanks for the question

Tony.
