Hi Everybody,

Juts to let you all know that we are working on new TS8 eld's that will contain the automatic DP trade set-up.

As you can see, this nailed two great trades today :)

Still some more testing needed, but these are on the way.

PS, then next we will update the eSignal efs's. Then the new Genesis plug in. And Yes, all the while still working on the new EOD v6.0.

I see the new ELDs are just labeling DP instead of drawing the dp boxes. Does this mean that multiple dp levels will be able to be displayed on a chart now and with differnet layers of data time periods on a chart will the DPs be produced on one chart automatically? Also will these new auto DP ELDs run with the older manual DP
ELDs just in case one would like to see box size?...Thanks...Jim

Hi Jim,

Yes the DP levels as well as the DP targets as well as the entry levels and position sizing will all be on the charts. a BIG improvement from the old eld's :)

I took that same trade and got +.3R based on ATR stop. Oh well. I should had paid attention to the strength band in STF. This week will be pretty choppy so it seems.

Steve - as you know I am really looking forward to the new elds.

While your programmer is working on them, PLEASE would you add a "Reversal Bar filter" to the standard Trade SetUps indicator (the RadarScreen version), ie. no alert unless there is also the corresponding reversal bar ?

We will start on the RadarScreen stuff soon, so not exactly sure how this will work in practice, because we have to balance the needs of traders who wish "to be alerted as a trade is unfolding" with those who only want "final confirmation". A tricky balance ;)

i downloaded the new ELDs... was i suppoosed to delete everything including the old MTP trade setups? because i get no setups now and when i put back on the old elds , i get the setups back, but no risk reward / profit target writing

i think i had this problem before with the DLL.. i see it saved the DLL file on my D:/WINDOWS folder. doesnt it need to be in my TS/PROGRAM folder? if so, what DLLs am i looking for?

I downloaded the RS elds today. Btw, they seem to work fine in the current 8.3 Build 1355.

The RS indicator appears to have all the format options one could need.... except the Reversal Bar on/off option. So I am repeating my request for this very useful option, please (I only want setups with reversal bar).

As I have requested this several times and no-one else has voiced their support, would anyone care to say why not, please ? Am I missing something or what !!!?

They are designed to give you an alert "as the bars is unfolding", in this way you can be "prepared in advance" for a potential trade. I find this by far the best way to use them.

However, you can "format" the indicators in Radars Screen to work on the completed bar" so then will only give you an alert when the bar is complete.

pegasus5 - mine load fine, but whilst loading a pop-up window confirms which day of a 30-day license I have reached (I presume this is something to do with it being a beta release). I think I get the pop-up for each workspace in which I have the beta elds installed ('was reading email while TS was loading this morning, so I was not counting...).

With the STF filter set to 1, should this DP long have triggered with the STF red (both in RS and on the chart) ? Perhaps I do not yet understand the filter (there is STF divergence).

I think that you will find that the colour of the STF only applies when taking TS1, TS2, TS3 and TS4 trades and not with DP's

I think you will notice that with the TS4 trades, the STF will almost always be the OPPOSITE color of the direction you want to go.

With the new TS8 eld's, I am finding out that it is not triggering many of the set ups. Although I like the fact that we finally have the DP and TS set ups on the same chart. I have a notice in to support to clarify.:confused: :)

Yep, the more I use these new elds, the more I like them - especially as I want to take less, rather than more trades...

Steve - could there please be the option to change the colour of at least the dark blue RR and trade description lettering ? Like many TS8 subscribers I use a black background and cyan would be much easier to read. Changing the background to white as per most of your eSig and NT examples just doesn't look right...
