Anyone out there figure out how to enter the 10 year note/30 year bond spec's into the risk reward module to enable it to accurately size a notes/bonds trade. I guess I could keep using my head or my calculator, but Im so dang slow about it.

Thanks for that Matt, but it just doesn't seem to work. Is it possible that the programmer could add a function to the risk/reward module that would compute position size based upon 32nds?

Hi David,
For reference you might want to build a spreadsheet for 30yr T-Bonds showing decimal value for 32nds, 64ths for 10yr T-Notes and 128ths for 5 & 2yr T-Notes or combnle them all. You will want to know 128ths especially if you trade the options. (see below, if it displays properly, sic)
After trading them for a while you assimilate the decimal version of the fractions. I would be great if these were dished out to the respective platforms for calculation, I have found it necessary to continue using my old spreadsheets for position sizing calculations as the different RT platforms all have glitches.

Hi Bill,
Thank you for your suggestion. I have been able to get the MTPredictor R/R module to position size correctly for 30 year bonds using .03125 tick size and 31.25 tick value. For 10 year notes you will need to use .015625 tick size and 15.625 tick value.
I still need to then convert the entry stop and stop loss prices into 32nds to place the trade. But as you mention, the more I use the decimal equivalents, the more readily have I been able to convert them to enter the orders.
That being said, the MTPredictor R/R module will size the position correctly. The solution was far easier than I had anticipated, which is why it took me three weeks of periodically playing with it to get it to work.
I've attached a chart to show MTP position sizing for 30 year bonds on a recent auto DP trade. At the time I had to size the position without the help of the MTP risk calculator because I still hadn't figured out how to set the tick size properly in the calculator. But the MTP risk calculator works beautifully using the values I mentioned above.

Hi
Just looking to add various Bonds to my trading and can't seem to get the right tick qty / pip value for the R/R module (trading US 30 yr bonds). I have tried DAvid's suggestion below and also $10 value and 1 tick but the calculations in the software are incorrect.
