Hi Everybody,

Due to many requests, we have now added the ability to calculate the MTP routes "on the Bar close" or in "real-time". In other words, may users only wanted to be altered to a valid set on the close of the bar, rather than have the confusion of the bar changing "as it is unfolding" in real time.

So user now have the choice - http://www.mtpredictor.com/RTVideos/BarClose/BarClose.html

I suggest the On Bar Close setting for new users who would prefer to only work with completed bars. However, for more experienced traders, who are happy working with bars "as they are unfolding" in real-time, then you have the option to set this to "False" to get fully real-time alerts and signals...

The choice is yours

Steve

I am very impressed with the new RT features as described here in this forum, and thank you to everyone at MTP for doing such great work in general. After viewing the video in this post, I thought I should make a suggestion: in order to get realtime alerts in Tradestation without the need to subscribe to RadarScreen, why not make an "alert only" eld that does not draw any graphics on the charts, since apparently the inefficiency of redrawing all the graphics on every tick is what causes the need to disable "update intrabar" as described in the video. If I had access to the code myself, I'd just comment out the graphics portions in a copy of the indicators and then apply that to the charts in addition to the "original" version. That way, my graphics would only update on bar close, but I would also get early alerts to keep me on my toes when setups are forming intrabar.

If you wait till the bar closes, you will almost always be late on entry.:(

Yep, that is why I suggest the "real-time" option for all the experienced users among you.

Just trying to keep everybody happy here ;)

Thats true, by the time the bar stops the R/R is not looking so hot:D I scroll down to the tick charts for a better entry.

Hi Steve

Are there any other updates or enhancements in build 21 over and above v20?

I'm OK with intrabar alerts so I won't download this version 21 unless I need to do so as it means resetting my charts again:)

Cheers

Hi Steve,

Are the e-signal efs's now compatible with e-signal 10? Or are they only working with e-signal 8?

Thank you,

David Day

Hi David,

Yes, they work in both, BUT eSugnal 10 has a bug in their efs code that removes our control buttons when you scroll the chart back in time. I have also heard of many other bugs in v10.

eSignal say they are fixing this, and hope to have a new v10 version available soon.

But if you are not going to scroll the eSignal chart back in time, then v10 is OK, otherwsie, I would stick with v8 until eSignal get their bugs fixed.

I hope this helps ?

Thanks Steve. I'll stick with version 8 until e-signal gets their act together.
