Chart problems with NinjaTrader.....

Hello,

I hope that everybody on this board, especially for US residents, enjoyed the holiday weekend.

I would like to report some problems with NinjaTrader.

1) Friday my entry price was triggered but chart trader didn't display anything on my chart and there were nothing in the position tab ! No target and stop loss for protecting my money, so I was obliged to call the IB desk support to close manually my open order. Because, it took time I lost 2R in this case.

2) When I close and re-open NT, I have noticed that SOMETIMES prices was NOT the same if I compare the chart of my first open of NT with the chart of the second open.

I realized that when this morning (GMT time) my stop loss was triggered, it was impossible becoz prices never touched my stop loss in my chart. For checking that, I closed and re-opened NT and I saw that prices truly reached my stop loss level.

My first chart gave me false prices and this is not the first time !! In fact, it seems that NT get some problems for refreshing prices or does it come from eSignal ?

Is there anybody encounter the same type of problems ?

Trading is a very tough activity and I don't understand why should I keep on paying a subcription for losing my money !! This morning, my entry/Stop loss target and management was totally false !!!!

Hello Steve,

YES for the first problem, they told me that it was due to a disconnection with the IB servor but the connection status was green at the time the issue occured. Very very stange no ?

For the second issue, I have been waiting their reply now.

Sincerely, I lost thousand of Euros for issues that was beyond my control but trading 3/5 minutes charts without NT is "mission impossible !!!

May be with Quote trader from eSignal ?
