I'd like to get 4hr charts on RT but can't - I can get them on the eSignal Advanced Charts but not MTP so I'm either doing something worng or MTP is not allowing this? Can this be added to the wishlist if this is the case?
4hr charts are very popular in Forex and I'd like to try them if I could to see how MTP goes.
I assume (?) that the new eSignal indicators will work in any time frame which will be good. To get the new signals to work in eSignal, we will need to have eSignal Premier?

Steve,
2 amendments would be appreciated.
First, in V5 there is an annoying and unnecessary message box (see attachment) that is preventing me running some automated scan routines. Even I can tell when no set ups have been found! Some way to disable this please, it really is a nuisance.
Second, is it possible to have an audible alert when a setup is found? I think there was a non operating one in V4?
Steve
Edit - Don't know how this ended up here - sorry - but I repeat, even I can spot when no set up has been found!!

Stevej:
I personally do not see any issue with the "no setups" message in EOD.
Useful for me...tells me it's time to try another setup combo....
what I find REALLY annoying is the "EOD has saved settings" beep and
message box EVERY time you close EOD.
Just my $.02

Hi,
"EOD has saved settings" - I agree, we will remove that in the next build for you :)
Thanks

What irritates me is, even though I have MTP real time, I resent paying the exorbitant cost of esignal data. I have cancelled my subscription.
I can use EOD with Interactive Brokers RT data ($10 per month if commissions are < $30, free otherwise!) but I need to be able to perform a scan automatically on, say, a 3 min basis.
In V4 - no problem.
In V5 I cannot do it because of this **** box.
Request repeated Steve - please provide some way of disabling it and, if poss, an audible alert or do I have to reinstall V4?
Steve
Ps, I do agree about the closedown message box. What on earth is the point of it? Don't c*ck up excellent software with meaningless garbage. This sort of thing is just programmers sticking things in for the sake of it.
PPS Any chance of an ELS for RT customers that operates in TS2000i? That would solve the problem.

Hi Stevej
First post here. I am sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but could you please explain how one can use IB data into MTP?
Thank you and regards

Its a bit Heath Robinson I'm afraid.
1. Feed IB data into Tradestation 2000i.
2. Easy language routine to save the data into a .csv file at the end of each bar.
3. Scan directory holding the .csv files a few seconds later (I use Rocket Time to maintain time accuracy)
4. Use a script or an automatic mouse clicker to re-scan each time interval.
It is the last step that is loused up by the message box.

Thank you for your reply.
Wow! I think I have got the principle and I will play around with it a bit, although my computer skills/patience/luck are giving me a probability of 1% of making it!
I sometimes feed TS2000i with IB data through Hyperserver/Hypertrader. Is this what you are using?
Again, this is off topic here, and I apologise for this. Perhaps you may care to pm me with some details?
Thank you and best regards
