Hi Everybody,

I have been asked to explain what I mean by an "ideal pattern", when filtering the TS1,2,3 automatic set-ups.

The chart below is a perfect example. Please note how the ABC is made up of 3 clear, clean and "obvious" swings. This is what I like to see, a nice clear clear 3-swing pattern.

As you can see, this resulted in a great tarde as the YM declined sharply into the third profit target

Ideal patterns are easy to see according to the setup rules of elliot patterns and WPT with confirmimg reversals, what would be of more value is a text book setup that failed either by over shooting target WPTs or just plain failures. Explaining why setups fail is more educational and valuable. Steve you are a very thourough instructor so I think many will benefit from why didn't the perfect setup not work. Displaying perfect setups makes great sales material and are needed to illustrate TS setups but for real world value I would rather have a failed setup dissected to show the discipline accurately...IMHO...Thanks

Hi,

This is exaclty what I do in the monthly video Seminars for customers that I run every month. Here I talk about what is "ideal" and (I agree with you here) "non ideal" set-ups. I aslo touch on this in the free daily reports - http://www.mtpredictor.com/pricing/Examples.html

So yes, the education I provide does cover the less than ideal set-ups as well :)

Thanks

Steve
