QM and QG

Matt, In your Report of 5th Dec you were wondering when Genesis were going to provide Mini Heating Oil and Natural Gas data. I see that they are there now - QM and QG. Are you going to add these to your MTP Futures list?

Hi McDirt,

Thanks for the heads-up...As you can see from the charts, they just started tracking the information...we might have to wait a few weeks before we get a signal. I have added them to the list and we will now track them. Some of those Natural Gas trades would have been great to have in the portfolio, but the risk was too much for the portfolio size. I remember doing the position sizing on 1 contract in the N. Gas and and we needed almost 200k to put 1contract on...I'm like where is the e-mini contract when you need it:cool:

By the way, I was just informed by Jeremy Lyell that the NYMEX are launching emiNY heating oil and gasoline next week... http://www.nymex.com/hot_topics.aspx
