Hi

Any chance we could enhance the drawings tools in a future update/release to MTP...?

My main requests are

1) The ability to draw vertical/horizontal lines at set time/prices. It can be done in current version buts its abit fiddly.
I'd like to mark of lunar calendar months... (it would be great if say all the dates for last 100 year and next 50 were input in MTP...this way one could bring up the lunar markings at will.

2) Modification of time projection tool to allow vertical line ability
At present the time tool just ticks of the time periods on the horizontal time projection it draws. It would be ideal to optionally extend the markings as vertical line all the way up/down the chart.

3) Also the ability to change the colour of manual fib/time projections in order to allow one to distinguish better...

Apologies if these have already been requested...

Cheers

I will leave questions 1 and 2 to the technical gurus at MTP. But if I am understanding you correctly, you can already change the fib colours. Go to Select User Preference (spanner icon at top) and then select Fob Ratios. Then simply click on the colour across from the ration and a colour selection window will pop up.

Yes changing the colours that way changes the colour for all future fibs.

I meant to the ability to right click on a partculr fib on the chart and change its colour without having to go into the setup...

Sorry for not making myself clear.

Steve et al:

Can you please add the following to MTP EOD:

1) The ability to select a date to jump to..ie..if you want to go back in time
on a chart, you do not need to enter training mode and click the - button several hundred times. This is useful for walkforward testing of strategies. This is a common chart package feature.

2) The ability to draw horizontal and vertical and trendlines, like 99% of
charting packages can let you do.

3) The ability to place bollinger bands and/or linear regression or standard
deviation channels.

4) A filter for extremes...i.e...to see if a security is at a statistical extreme
2 std deviations, etc. This can greatly increase the probability that a
setup will move in the intended direction. I actually mentioned this to
on a phone call & you seemed to like the idea.

5) A calculation and autodraw feature for camarilla lines or pivots...ie...
S1,S2,S3,S4, P,R1,R2,R3,R4. Having a security at a major reversal point
can add strength to the setups.

Thanks,

dctommy

Hello, I like the idea as well of being able to right click on a trendline and change the colour and thickness of it and maybe make it dashed to differentiate lines.
Also an erase last, or undo last button would be very helpful. Currently I have to resave a chart I'm working on after each few items I add to the chart just in case I add something that I can't easily erase (certain text do not erase very easily, especially with the fib time tool).
Also I would like to have a WPT lable check box, so it's optional to see the WPT's if needed.

All superficial items but would make life a bit easier.

Thanks

I would alos like to add the ability to find weekly setups past one year ago and be able to click on the setup result and see the chart load properly. VERY frustrating, although Steve has been working on this issue for me.
