Hi mike12,
First let me congratulate you for the very good calls you have been posting on the forum :)
I'm very interested in trading 8 hours time Frame but MT4 simply allows to export 1h, 4h or daily time frame to MTPredictor.
So would you mind to tell me what is the Forex plateform you use knowing that Forex data should be fully compatible and exportable to MTPredictor ?
Thanks for your help,
Rgrds

I'm using Metatrader 4,
the steps are as follows:
1- Open the 1H chart of the pair you want, for example GBPUSD
2- Go to the scripts section in the navigator window
3- Drag the period_converter script from the Navigator to the 1H chart you opened in step 1
4- The script will ask you about the "period multiplier" factor, enter 2 if you want 2H, 3 for 3H, ...
5- now metatrader has created a history file for the period you specified in step 4, so if you selected multiplier as 8 in step 4 then
a history file name "GBPUSD,H8" will be created.
6- go to file->open offline and select the GBPUSD,H8, the chart will be opened
7- select file-> save as and save the chart as GBPUSD480.prn, this will create a text file which has the date formatted as YYYYMMDD.
8- open the MTpredictor EOD and define the ascii format for the file u created in step 7
repeat the same steps for the different pairs and time frames u wish and store them in one directory and let MTPredictor EOD scanner scan this directory for possible setups
