I guess this post is targeted towards Matt as he has a good understanding of trading psychology.
We are Lucky enough to have some great Traders engaged in this forum who are happy to share their ideas with us all.
I would like to Congratulate Durgesh on his truly outstanding results over the last 8 months. What makes the results even greater in real terms is that his 1000% return is on his account balance taking into consideration Commissions / slippage.. I made 35% last year & thought I was doing well !!! I would also thank him for sharing his trade setups with us all before they have played out.
The main point I would like to raise is are these sort of returns sustainable mentally or do we as humans get to a level & hit some sort of barrier.
With some basic math's it is possible to get to a huge account size in theory when these sort of returns have compounded several times.
There have been some highly publicized traders who have made some huge returns in the past , 2 that come to mind are
1. Larry Williams 11000% return in one year
2. Dan Zanger 30000% return in one year
Compounding these figure for a few years & you could buy a small European country !!
Where these returns a fluke? or are these people still getting huge return year in year out.
I have no doubt that Durgesh has a robust trading system & am sure he will continue to grow his account .
I would also like to say a big thank you to the whole team at MTP for a fantastic piece of software & backup that in my opinion is second to none ..................:)
