Yawn….
As far as I am concerned, that’s it for the day, and the week.
I have started liking this software. Great trade and explanation on ES yesterday, Steve! I wish I were that good.
But yesterday was good even for mere mortals like me. At 17.45 London time there were two Long signals on 15 min charts: YM and ER2 , with profit for approximately 40 and 3 points respectively. Not bad. I am not sure about aesthetics yet, but they looked good to me. There were other good-ish things, but I won’t bother further.
TRIN filtering was quite mixed: blue but increasing and then blue flat….: passed a couple of good short signals…
Hey, partial vindication for the tick chartists out there: 133 tick charts on ES and YM and 266 on YM found nice set ups. There were some wrong ones too across the board though. My opinion is that they fire too many signals. True, the right ones are much bigger and better than the wrong ones, but I guess commissions may become an issue. They also require tremendous attention.
Anyway, more vindication: with some twists to ignore some elds’ glitches they look like they would have been OK today too. Sorry, I am bit vague on Friday afternoons. Jury still out on them as far as I am concerned.
Today, however I have discovered a little thing I do not particularly like of MTP, or at least the methodology: on a day like this there were no signals (none that I could detect anyway) , at least until Steve comes up with another brilliant set-up!;)
Well, we can’t have everything. Luckily I have my good old boring almost completely mechanical breakout systems running!;)
