I am using esignal for trading primarily eminis. I pay about 155 a month for esignal along with trading commisions. With tradestation it appears that if you make 10 round turn emini trades per month the platform fee is waived.....
Am I missing something here ..but it seems that tradestation is much more economical??
Thanks

if you trade 10 contracts a month you will get the platform for free but it doesnt include the real-time exchange fees so you will have to pay 20$ for the cme and 1$ for nyse to get the trin on your charts
the commission are great for the eminis its 4.72 for round turn per contract and the margin is 1000$ per contract for day trading
I dont know what the fees for esignal im using tradestation and the only disadvantage is that they dont have the dax futures
Hello Stylist
I currently use eSignal for intraday MTP signals but am contemplating going to Tradestation largely to save on datafeed costs.
In eSignal I keep open about 20 intraday charts for signals - do you think that would be a problem in Tradestation? How many intraday charts do you keep open in Tradestation and have you had any problems?
Any other pros/cons you can think of from your Tradestation experience?
I appreciate your input

In TradeStation you don't even have to have a chart open - you could use RadarScreen and scan 00's of instruments in real time. For RT, I used eSignal but I believe that TS is technically far superior perhaps Steve can comment.

Hi Guys,
I have 6 or 7 "workspaces" all open at the same time, each with about 4 charts in each. This allows me to very quickly swap between all the charts I am looking at, see below:

I alos have one workspace with RadarScreen in, which is following lots of markets and time frames (30-40) all at the same time.
So yes, it is very easy to folow lots of markets in TS8.
I hope tihs helps ?
BUT the main drawback is that TS8 only covers the US markets.......... so no FTSE and DAX, etc.

Hi Steve,
That is not a solution that I would suggest, as it has not been verified and sanctioned by TradeStation.
Steve
I appreciate everyone's input.
I've been using eSignal for MTP signals and Interactive Brokers as my broker. Tradestation's commissions seem to be almost identical to IB's but I was interested in saving the datafeed costs (of course not including exchange fees) and having the well thought of TradeStation software thrown in was a plus.
Thanks for all the comments.
