Hi Matt,
I just wanted to share my experience with the link you sent me for Van Tharp's trading game and what a difference it made. It really made it sink in that the outcome of the trade doesn't matter (as long as the system has a good expectancy such as MTPredictor does) and that you just keep risking the same percentage amount and the outcome then becomes a known factor.
Simply put risk management as defined by the course and following the guidelines and you are automatically a successful trader.
In example I had several losing trades in a row, including manual analysis, and I was ready to quit, but I remembered a few blurps on expectancy and my experience of playing the game, another trade was placed and then came a big YM winner. It took care of all my losses and put me into good profit!
Thanks again,
Jim
